Producer Jason Dahl invited the public on September 27th to the interstellar launch of Seberian: The Hidden Battle Revealed Indiegogo Crowd Funding/Party Event via livestream on Facebook. The feature-length motion picture project will present clashing angels and demons engaged in supernatural/spiritual warfare. The gala featured cast members Lyndsay Wrensen and Grace Carson from the project.
“It would be great for people to join the Facebook Live feed,” Dahl told CM in advance of the event. “We will go for about 10-15 minutes first, then ‘Launch,’ then show some more things. We’ll be live for a total of 30-40 minutes.”
The livestream, besides its host page of origin, was carried by several Facebook friends in simulcast. You can watch a recording of the actual event as it took place that evening.

Dahl conveyed the planned motion picture is just the first in a series of planned Seberian films based on his popular book series of the same name. However, the direction is a natural progression, as the Seberian saga began as a movie script, was converted to a novel, and now is in pre-production as a film.

Dahl imagines the movie will spark conversations about the hope God offers us in the midst of an insanely fallen world. The Hidden Battle Revealed, the first installment, takes place in another time and galaxy, in the time period before the Messiah. It focuses on the war in Heaven, and the fall of Satan and one third of the angels.

“The goal is to show how, and why, Jesus had to come as the Messiah,” Dahl explained in a statement on the film website. “I cannot match the skill and mastery of men like J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis, but I hope and pray that I can use these genres to communicate biblical truth, as they did.”

The story will feature a lot of action, “But ultimately it has a message of nonviolence,” Dahl explained. Most of the motion picture will be shot at a Tampa studio, with additional photography taking place in upstate New York.

Cast in principal character roles in the motion picture are Benny Oliveri as Lonan, Lyndsay Wrensen as Averine, Stuart Anson as Devakin, Grace Carson as Cloin and Mason Henderson as Telgrin.

Aside from Executive Producer, screenwriter and Director, Jason Dahl, Mark Russell takes the helm as Director of Photography. The crew includes composer and worship leader, Trevor Easterling, and firearms instructor and military advisor, Joe Naples. The VFX and art team is comprised of John Carlson, Brian McKenzie, Rob Richardson, Zachary Nobles, Chris Smith, and Susan and Alianna Arango.
The live crowdfunding party even on Facebook presented Dahl, Lyndsay Wrensen and Grace Carson, who all talked about the project revealing the potential of the faith-based/sci-fi movie series about to enter production. View the pre-event and fundraising presentation, and don't pop any balloons or swallow any confetti while watching!

A trailer is currently in production. Intentions are to have the movie premiere in Tampa, at the Historic Tampa Theater, in February, 2021.
